Våren 2023 ga Sabrina Teitelbaum ut sitt debutalbum som artisten Blondshell. Hun hadde tidligere laga musikk under navnet BAUM. Under det nye artistnavnet jobber hun med et råere og mer rock-basert uttrykk, og låter som er ærlige og kompromissløse.

Hun vokste opp med musikken til blant andre Patti Smith, Joy Division, Elliott Smith og Tracy Chapman. Soundet på debuten har hun jobba fram i samarbeid med produsent Yves Rothman, som har bidratt på utgivelser med moderne artister som Yves Tumor og Bartees Strange.
